Pennyrile Forest State Resort Park, Hawkins

I had mixed feelings about my stay at this lodge. On one hand, the room was clean, comfortable, and boasted a beautiful view of the lake from the balcony. However, the dining experience was a letdown, with long wait times and below-average food. Although the lodge had nice amenities like a lounge and scenic walking paths, I can't overlook the frustrating service at the restaurant during my visit.

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The park is beautiful, and the hiking trails offered a peaceful retreat. However, the restaurant service during our class reunion left much to be desired, which was disappointing. Overall, a good experience with some room for improvement.
